Santa Clarita - Castaic

Trail areas here burned in the September 2022 Route Fire. Though open for hiking, it is a bit bleak.

Take transit to Ridge Route/Lake Hughes. (directions)

Walk .2 mile east on Lake Hughes to park entrance, 1 mile north through park to trailhead.

NOTES: Use the same bus stop for return trip.

 

Nearest water is .2 mile from park entrance at picnic pavilion.  Nearest toilet is .1 mile from entrance at Aquatic Center.
